Introduction to WORKSHOP WAY®
This course is intended to be an overview of the system’s six elements. Participants will create materials and learn how to operate this system of human growth for education.
WHAT WILL THIS WORKSHOP PROVIDE TO TEACHERS?
WORKSHOP WAY ® Phonics
Participants will learn how to use a systematic five part lesson plan that addresses the research based components of phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency, reading comprehension, and language development.
What will teachers learn in this workshop?
WORKSHOP WAY® Mathematics
Participants will study, practice and demonstrate the process for whole class instruction and small group activities. They will put together and learn how to integrate materials unique to the system with the math texts of their district.
What Materials will teachers use and what techniques will they learn to apply in this workshop?
WORKSHOP WAY® Reading
Teachers will learn several reading techniques that address daily instructional techniques for fluency, basic comprehension and vocabulary. Special techniques are given to at risk students, but all types of learners are addressed.

WORKSHOP WAY® Science & Social Studies
This course will focus on the study of the system’s theory and practice in the organization of the teaching of Science and Social Studies.
