Description
Pre-K is a time for children to learn to love learning, learn to think and learn to manage their lives while building on basic skills necessary for reading, understanding numeration and practice with both fine and gross motor skills. The Phonemic Awareness Kit for Pre-K supplies all the tools to systematically achieve these goals.
The Workshop Way’s Literacy Lessons for Pre-K supplies the teacher with 160 lessons with enough flexibility to fit any curriculum along with Pre-K Lessons for Thinking. The Picture Cards, Visual Discrimination Cards, Rhyming/Rime Cards and Numeration Cards give the teacher the materials to teach the lessons.
Other materials that are used in 8 of the lessons: Puzzles, Pre-K Picture Vocabulary Study, and THINKERS, are purchased separately. These materials can be used in small group instruction and, when the teacher is ready, to put in a Workshop Schedule of Tasks.
