This product is for all grade levels. There are masters for zeros, ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands and millions to print what is needed for this quiet manipulative to teach number sense. Included in the downloads is a booklet, File #2, with ideas of how to teach place value, expanded notation, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and beginning algebra.
The teacher decides how many pages to use. For example: Kindergarten will probably only use zeros, ones and tens. Grade One will use zeros, ones, ten and hundreds, etc.
Moveable Markers® were created by Grace H. Pilon, PhD, founder of WORKSHOP WAY as a way to teach mathematical properties with manipulatives so students of all grade levels could have a deeper understanding of number.
